The Benefits:There are many reasons why children's facilities and parents should consider integrating DZ Workshops into a child's weekly curriculum. Here are just a few:
1. Digital photography helps teach fundamental decision-making skills. Once students get their hands on a camera they must make conscious decisions in regards to lighting, angles, subject matter and a host of other factors.
2. Digital photography is the gateway to other artistic endeavors. A student who enjoys taking pictures may also learn to appreciate other forms of art, including painting and architecture. In addition, students who excel at digital photography may also do well with videography and photo editing.
3. Digital photography teaches children about the importance of respecting a variety of objects and subject matters.

About Our Founder:
Ms. Dione, has always loved working with digital art and children. She majored in Film & Digital Media at the University of California Santa Cruz then went on to complete a Master's Degree at UCLA. Years later armed with invaluable experience as a Tech Camp Director, Boys & Girls Club Volunteer and Community Center Tutor, Ms. Dione realized Tampa was in serious need of quality Digital Arts Education for kids. "I launched Digital Zoom Kids! because I believe digital photography and video offer excellent learning opportunities for children. Both art forms engage creativity and encourage children to look at the world from a new and exciting perspective. At the end of the day, it is my goal to introduce as many children as possible to digital photo and video!"
